Invisibility

I consider this attempt at Invisibility a Failure. I was inspired by artist Joseph  Beuys, "I like America and America likes me" (1974) where this artist preforms in a small room with a Coyote and at one point in the performance he was cloaked . 

There was also a particular scene in the movie "Snow White and the Huntsman"(2012), where the mirror on the wall extends outward from the golden mirror and was fully "cloaked" with Golden drapery representing invisibity by which only the Queen could see him.

Using Mirrors I set up at my house I lined them up to see an object from the kitchen, down the hall and into the living room. It is probably impossible to see the final result from this image but It was there and have a video I can present tomorrow morning.

Braille assignment

In terms of the Braille assignment, my interpretation turned out to be a little bit different than the tactile physicality of Braille. Instead what was done was transitioning the form of language into something that is both concrete and visually physical in nature. The essence of the text was transformed into the image of the Mona Lisa in a concrete poem style. Text is normally a primary form of communication however in this project, it becomes secondary when it comes to the form of visual language.
